Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Maya is a wonderful teacher and makes the class very engaged and exciting, every time we would read a book together or discuss the novel it was very interesting to see what the class would think about the book. The books she had us read were always good picks that would enhance our vocabulary and enrich the mind. Overall I would say she was the best english teacher I have ever had.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course were class reading sessions, group projects, and the movies we watched after completing each novel. The group projects were always so fun because you got to work with your best friends to make something funny and enjoyable for the teacher and the class to watch. And movie day was always so much fun because you got to sit back and relax and just enjoy the movie about the book you had just finished reading.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't expect the course to be easy, if you want to enjoy the benefits of the movies and group projects make sure to read up on the books, always stay aware of the different reading techniques and comprehension skills to stay up to date in class and really contribute to the group reading circles. And most importantly, you actually have to read, don't just put the book in front of your face and go to sleep, actually take the time to read the books and understand the content, you'll be better off if you do it, trust me.
