    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For anyone interested in going into the medical field. chemistry is the basis of all life. It is the study for matter, which makes up everything we know. Being introduced to this complex field as soon as possible will making learning it in college easier.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course I learned how to look at the world differently. I learned to not take everything at face value and see past initial appearances. Content wise I am still a beginner in Chemistry but the expereience from this class has given me the advantage at learning how to look at a problem solve it with the skill set I have.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always keep an agenda and do practice problems everyday. The only way to get better at chemistry is to practice.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has prepared me, and it currently still preparing me, to learn more about advanced chemistry. Not everyone is good at it, but if you work hard enough, you can surely pass a course like this. It is very strict but once taking it, you'll understand why. It's a college level course so expect the material to be a little challenging. My teacher is great at teaching the concepts but he's also great at making you realize that he does not have all the answers. This course requires you to learn on your own and be determined enough to learn as much as possible. I literally focus on this course more than any, especially since I want to major in Chemistry.

    Course highlights:

It is hard, yes, but it is very doable. You learn a lot of great stuff, and if you're really interested in science courses like this, you should definitely take it. It will challenge you, not just on your knowledge of the material but also on how well can you perform a lab and even how often do you have to substitute your free time for a little studying. I absolutely love it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to be challenged! You can do anything but do not expect it to be as easy as first grade math. You will be tested on certain stuff, and you'll fail a few times, but you will overcome that and hopefully learn a few things along the way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who's interested in a career in the medical field or anything science related. This class has opened my eyes and made me realize how much I love chemistry! Although it is not an easy course, with an ambitious personality and a determined mind, you'll be able to achieve greatness in one of the hardest AP courses in the state of Florida. Just remember that it's a class and ,although it'll be great to receive the college credit, your state of mind will always be more important and you should maintain a healthy and clean mind throughout the course.

    Course highlights:

In taking an advanced placement course, you obviously review the material from the honors version and then you multiply that by 10 times because you'll end up adding concepts and learning more in depth about a certain topic. It's really tough to comprehend that you're expected to memorize so much for 1 exam, but it's possible. Overall, just know that if you take the basic regulars/honors course, there will always be way more to it then you think.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice everyone should take regardless of the course is to remember to not let the class intimidate you. The course is tough but not so tough that you won't be able to complete it. Always remember that you're the only person that can give yourself a passing grade. It is not the teacher's fault nor anyone else's. If you work hard enough and do everything you're supposed to, you'll get what you wanted. It's really all up to you and how you want to do in class.
