    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course ONLY to students who have already identified Language Arts as one of their strengths. This course is by no means an AP that you can pass without effort. There is a level of accountability required for this class and will require the student to be consistent in their quality of work to maintain a passing grade. Nevertheless, if you are a diligent student who is confident in your Language Arts abilities and looking for a challenge, English AP Literature is the course for you.

    Course highlights:

Looking back, I can say that this class had the greatest impact on who i would become academically. It stretched me mentally and forced me to think outside of the box. Additionally it encouraged me to expand my knowledge on current events so that I could better understand the perspective of the authors we studied. Overall, this class made me a more adit reader and aware of my surroundings.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

For anyone considering this course I would tell them three things: 1. Keep up with all assigned reading ( even if the professor doesn't mention it) 2. Either stay on track with the syllabus or stay ahead 3. Take time to research background information on the authors you study in class, sometimes they're test questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

I recommend taking AP lit because you're taught how to write in a variety of different ways. Many of the things you learn will be useful for future jobs.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was getting to interact with my peers and learning how to work with others in a group inorder to get the word done.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate while taking this course because there's assignments that may take days to complete. Also, always try to find your weak points in your writing so you can improve.
