Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs.Cubano is an excellent teacher, shes very thorough with her lessons. Prepare for alot of flashcards and key people and terms

    Course highlights:

European History. Didn't really learn anything other than the history of Europe from 1000 AD till the present

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to finish your key people and terms, they were very helpful to study off of before tests.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course because I was able to learn a large span of history, from the early Renaissance to present day history, in a short period of time. While taking AP European history I became more knowledgable about important historical events. While taking this course I was also able to learn about how to handle a large course load, that including a large amount of information with retaining information from many readings.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was learning about the Scientific Revolution, this is because while learning about the Scientific Revolution I was able to learn about scientific discoveries that many people learn at a young age. The most interesting thing about the Scientific Revolution was that groundbreaking research that people researched for many years are things that I learned at a young age.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To students considering this course I would recommend buying an AP crash course book, throughout AP Euro I used the crash course book along with the readings assigned by the teacher and annotated them, this outlined the information that I learned and simplified the information that was needed. I would also recommend to keep up with your readings as your teacher assigns them, because the course load is a large amount of information in a short period of time.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is extremely interesting and also helps with other classes since it aids in understanding the historical context around documents, poems, authors, books and more. Also it made me more aware of events such as the holocaust, and both world wars.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about important events that shaped the world such as European colonization, World War One and two, the holocaust/the reign of Hitler, and the reign of various Kings and Queens (my personal favorite is Louis the 14th).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice for the AP Exam a lot and don't procrastinate on studying for it! Also make use of your access to the internet and youtube. There are very many teachers out there who make videos and study guides to help you along the way. The videos are fun and an easy way to learn and comprehend material.
