    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While this is one of the more difficult AP history courses, it is a great supplement of knowledge due to the amount of time it covers.

    Course highlights:

One of the biggest highlights was learning the history of France, especially during the French Revolution. Seeing how the Third Estate was able to overthrow the government was very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you outline the textbook, as well as practice the writing for the AP exam, including SAQs, DBQs, and LEQs.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course! It presented a delightful change of pace from a normal history class. Up until I took this course the only thing I ever really learned about in history was American history. Learning about a different side of the world was extremely interesting. This class, being an AP class, also pushed me to improve my writing and analyitical thinking skills.

    Course highlights:

This class taught me not only history, but invaluable writing and analysis skills that I have applied to numerous other courses I've taken.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to use your resources. I was fortunate to have a very skilled teacher which I know most definetly contributed to my success in the class. But a teacher can't learn the informnation to you. Don't try to remember every little detail. AP wants you to know more broad strokes- trends, time periods, movements, that sort of thing

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs.Cubano is an excellent teacher, shes very thorough with her lessons. Prepare for alot of flashcards and key people and terms

    Course highlights:

European History. Didn't really learn anything other than the history of Europe from 1000 AD till the present

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to finish your key people and terms, they were very helpful to study off of before tests.
