Lots of Writing
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This course focused on the amendments, the three different branches of government (executive, legislative, and judicial) , and politics. I would recommend this course because there are a lot of important information to learn about our government. At first i was upset that i got this course because i felt a little timid - government was never my strong course. There were just too many information for each of the three branches. However, during my 9th grade year that changed. I passed my tests , was focused, and prepared to start the year off, thanks to Mrs. Leto. The first week in her class was wonderful and it stayed this way throughout the year. She did not just give us the information and classwork , and then test us on the information the following week or so. She made sure we understood and was comfortable with what we were learning, we even played Kahoot - which is a quiz game were you could make up your own questions. Kahoot really helped me , I remembered mostly everything that i needed to know. I was prepared for test/exam day. I felt a little discouraged at first, but with the help of my teacher and my peers I persevered and finally realized that government was actually an amazing course to take. After taken it i even felt like a very well educated citizen. I learned a plentiful amount of useful information.
The hightlights of this course, for me , was looking forward to something new and a different way of learning everyday. The classroom had a cordial atmosphere, I felt safe. There were never any tension in the classroom. I looked forward to our projects, although i never liked speeking in front of the class - this soon changed , I didn't feel as if i were being judged. I looked forward to the tests that we took just to see how well i did , i was very confident. I was motivated to go to my 6th period class (Us government) i do not recall having any bad vibes.

Advice for students:
This course CAN be difficult if you slack off, don't take notes, and if you do not study. If you take at least 30 mins or less to go over the new information you learned or took that day , and do that each day or every so often you will do well on the test. There are some questions that might seems to have more than one answer but you will be prepared.
