    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it. It is great to know and you will need to know it if you are going to take higher math classes

    Course highlights:

Finding angles, sides. There are a lot of things in this class from algebra one.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you pay a lot of attention in you previous math class because that will help a lot

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although I took this class as a freshman and it was so long ago, I would strongly recommend this class to any incoming student because it shaped me for my next four years. While it was interesting, it also provided a great challenge and was very demanding, but it forced me to work hard and prove to myself that I could do it as well as any other challenging class/task I would be faced with in the future.

    Course highlights:

The teacher encouraged her students to form good relationships and work together to find solutions rather than having her answer all of the questions. She encouraged us to think for ourselves first. I learned to be an individual and to try before giving up and finding the solution elsewhere.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Expect to work hard and don't slack off. She is very tough, but she cares so much about all of her students and expect all of us to be our best.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a very challenging course for me and I am a complete math nerd. The teacher used real life examples to help us understand the different techniques and formulas throughout the course.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was learning about different shapes and angles. In order to have a visual image of the specific degrees and arcs, we made kites to fly outside. If the measurements were correct, your kite would fly. If not, it would fall. Very fun and a learning experience!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up! When it seems challenging, go in for help or ask a friend. You will soon understand even though you might not think so! Not one person failed this class, and you won't either!
