    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class pushed you to be responsible and take initiative. You had to get your assignments turned in on time and that pushed you to manage your time so that you got it done in time.

    Course highlights:

I learned to manage my time wisely and that sometimes things will be hard and you just have to push through them and look for ways to get help. You sometimes have to get rid of your pride and admit that you need help. You learn a lot of different ways to solve problems and you have to figure out which way works best for you.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed you need to be prepared to work. This is not a course you can pass if you don't work hard. Make sure that you get your work done on time and go for help if you need it. This class is not easy but if you work hard it will be worth it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is highly recommended for students to take before doing calculus. A lot of the things I used in trigonometry led to calculus subjects and vice versa.

    Course highlights:

Being that this was a class I took almost a year ago, I don't remember much. However, the biggest thing we learned about was triangles. This meant a lot of angles, lines, and graphs. Most of these led into a calculus subject so it was great background knowledge for a soon to be calculus student.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The two pieces of advice I would give is to keep up on your homework and try not to miss a day. Once you fall behind, it is super hard to catch up!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it provided a good challenge.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to effectively analyze word problems and pull out the key information. This skill can be helpful in any course.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is meant to be challenging, so don't get discouraged. Be willing to ask for help.
