Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I took this course online. I took this course through CengageNOW. First of all, I'm used to using Peason with MyMathLab when taking online courses. I loved the way Pearson sets up their online courses and when I came to use CengageNOW, I was disappointed. CengageNOW charged me to use their program as well as charged me for the book. When I used Peason, they were only one price for the program and the package. Also I wasn't too happy with Kathy. She was THE WORST with e-mailing you back. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her and that I shouldn't be e-mailing her. I'm sorry, but you're a teacher, it's your job to help your students? I mean it's not like she had to deal with us that much anyway since it was an online course. Also, she never posts things on time as well. So you would have to remind her to post the discussion and that was probably the only e-mails she was good at responding to, other than that she wouldn't respond.
Learning new material. I learned about general journals, general ledgers, schedules of accounts payable and receivable. I learned about pay stubs as well as what gets credited and what gets debited.

Advice for students:
I would just suggest to stay on top of turning in your homework and your mastery problems. Also I would take a break if you're ever stuck and come back to it later. So many times I would be stuck and thought I wouldn't be able to figure it out, so I would go and see a tutor the next day. Well when I brought out my homework to get help from the tutor, I would look at it and I would get it. Then I'd tell the tutor I wouldn't need him anymore haha! Accounting can be tedious and a lot of work, so know when to take a step back and take a break, think about something else.
