Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was engaging and did a phenomenal job of laying down the basics to Early Childhood Education. It provided me with a solid foundation for my career.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge on different teaching philosophies, as well as the development of children. This strongly influenced me in my decision to teach a certain age group, as well as align my own personal teaching style with a particular philosophy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in any class you need drive and determination. You should let yourself be fully present in each class, ask questions, and really dive into the material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The online class portal was easy to navigate, and the lessons plans were easy to follow along side the textbook. Assignments were imaginative, and students were given ample time to complete them

    Course highlights:

This course most benefited me by explaining the different stages of childhood development in depth. It has helped me tremendously through my childcare career. I have been able to catch delays in gross motor skills and speech impediments early on due to this course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay organized, and reach out to the professor whenever you have questions. I found it best to study with a partner. Discussing the material and assignments helped me have a more solid grasp on each concept.
