Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Shanthi makes a difficult course easy to understand and will always be there to assist you in any way. Her exams might seem difficult but she usually allows you to retake an exam if done horribly and will reward you with bonus points if there is an improvement seen between the two grades.

    Course highlights:

The ability to understand a wide variety of chemical reactions and learn how to use several reactions to turn one substance into another. She will give you countless of reaction problems that if completed will give you a deep understanding of organic chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To review any notes and reactions the day it is taught. Make a separate study guide of all reactions to look at when completing problems at home. Also complete all the practice problems given, once using the study guide you create and another time without the study guide to ensure you are retaining the information.
