    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because there is an excessive amount of information taught in this course.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights in this course are the challenges that partake within this course. For example, you learn how to cite sources in mla 8 format. You also learn how to write many different types of essays; these consist of, descriptive essays, informative essays, persuasive essays and many more. Another learning objective in this course is learning how to use punctuation correctly. I really enjoyed this unit because I felt I learned a lot. Originally I thought i knew everything there was to know about punctuation, but then I took this course; I quickly learned I was wrong. When it came to punctuation I learned a lot. After taking this course, I now feel my use of punctuation is 100% better than what it was before taking it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students considering this course is if you are ready for a challenge in English definitely take this course. If you are one who loves writing, this is more then definitely a course for you. This course is challenging so prepare to learn.

    Course highlights:

I really like the discussions and commenting on other people's work. I really enjoy giving feedback on papers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give to students who take this course is to never procrastinate. It will seriously be the downfall of you and your grades in any course you may take. Work ahead, stay on task, read the comments on your papers from the professor.
