    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is not for the faint at heart, but you can make it through if you give it the time and dedication it deserves. You have to be willing to read the books assigned in class, and be able to produce coherent thoughts on the text. This course is heavily writing based, so be prepared for many in class essays along the way.

    Course highlights:

While I was not the best at writing in the beginning of the year, I am completely changed now. Now that I am in AP English 4, I am able to keep up with the writing standard rather than fall under it. I am thankful that I took these rigorous English courses to prepare me for my interest in broadcast journalism in college.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it if you are willing to challenge yourself. Only you know your limitations, so take that into consideration when signing up for this course. Don't take it because you think society is "making" you, take it for you. You will only enjoy it if you are willing to commit and that decision has to come down to you.
