    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is very energetic and nice to be around. The class itself is also challenging, yet within our limits. It prepares us for AP Physics very well.

    Course highlights:

I gained a solid physics background while taking this course. Although I struggled, looking back, this class thoroughly prepared me for successive physics classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend knowing how to do every problem in the homework. You don't need to complete all of it, but know them before the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Anatomy is the most interesting class I have taken thus far! Each day I walked into class knowing I would learn fascinating facts about the human body and how it functions.

    Course highlights:

A simple highlight of the course was gaining powerful knowledge about the human body that a large percentage of humans do not know. It was interesting to see how my body functions on a day to day basis.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take thorough and organized notes. This class is heavy on studying, and it was very beneficial to look back at my notes and notice color coding and clean organization. It is the main tip that helps me excel in school.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking this course! I have a great time in Mr. Java's class every single day. He is a super outgoing and energetic teacher making the atmosphere full of energy. He is also one of the best teachers I have ever had. His ability to teach all of the things we need to know in anatomy is remarkable. The class itself also helps students get ready for college because it is a harder class, and if you get Java he treats it like a college course.

    Course highlights:

Having Java as a teacher is the highlight of the course. It is so easy to absorb information when Java is teaching in class because he thoroughly explains everything. So far we have covered multiple units on the anatomy and physiology of the human body. The class is super interesting and you will learn a lot about yourself and others in the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you pay attention in class and print out the powerpoints that the teachers make online. If you do those things most of the information is easy to remember. You should also take time outside of school to study especially days prior to quizzes and tests because they get progressively more difficult throughout the year.
