    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    It is a fun class that teaches you more in depth version of American History. You explore parts of history not covered in general history classes. It covers the time period beginning with the first settlers.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about the Revolutionary war and the beginning of the United States as a country. We learn about the different wars and the major points in history that changed our country and our views. We discuss how we changed as a people.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    The key word is too study. For tests and quizzes you can not pass this course without getting good grades on them. Even though you do not get that much homework, it is important to complete it on time. Mr. Staats is a fair teacher, but he will not except late work.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This class allows students to see how rigorous college courses are, and learn how to manage their own time.

    Course highlights:

    Learning about U.S. history in a broader context was very rewarding. I have learned that European conquest of the Americas what helped form the United States.

    Always do required assignments because the have a purpose and can propel you towards success in the course.
