    | Would not recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it broadened my views of literature. Going into the course I did not know what to expect, but with my great teacher I was able to learn how to read literature professionally and gained insight on authors during the time periods each book we read was written.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were gaining knowledge and different views of each of the literature movements.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Come into the class with an open mind to learning and emerging yourself in the book that you are studying, these things will serve you well in the future while discussing or writing about your book.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is one of the more difficult courses I have taken while I have been in high school. While I have learned a lot I have also been over whelmed by this class for the majority of this year. I thoroughly enjoy writing but the amount of writing I have had to do in this class has caused me to look as it more of a chore and not as an activity for enjoyment.

    Course highlights:

This class defiantly taught me a lot. The one thing that stands out to me most about this class is that it really pushed me out go my comfort zone. I learned about how to better write an introduction and a better conclusion in my paper. Another thing I learned is how to look deeper into poetry and short stories.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell anyone considering this course to make sure that you have good time management skills because this class is very demanding and you will have to be able to balance it on top of your other classes. I would also tell people thinking about taking this class to not get frustrated because it is something that takes a lot of practice and with time it will get better. This class will help people grow their writing and reading skills with patients and time it can be very beneficial.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

His teaching style is great, I've learned more in his class than I have in all 4 years in high school.

    Course highlights:

I gained a great teacher and learned so much about poets and authors- things I never would have learned without taking this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to do the work and essays, no slacking allowed! But really, do the essays, trust me.
