Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Joseph Philips is a very straight forward teacher. He makes sure his students are following along with his lecture. He makes math seem like a much simpler subject. Whatever he teaches during his lectures is exactly what is on the tests.

    Course highlights:

I was able to differentiate between different statistics. For instance a sample compared to a population. I was also able to learn about probability of different statistics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to each class and don't miss out! Make sure you do the Study guide reviews. The reviews are very similar to the tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because this course covers many social injustices in the world and gives an in depth look into the factors that cause many of the injustices while inspiring students to want to bring about change in our society. This course allows you to engage and have discussions with others.

    Course highlights:

Knowing and realizing that I can make a change provides me with a confidence level that shows. I can be a voice for others who are less fortunate therefore I can make a difference in the world. I really enjoyed sharing my experiences in life with others because we are all diverse and experience life in different ways. Being able to tell my "story" and feel like people truly cared and understood my struggles and hardships showed compassion in our classroom for our fellow students. We were able to respect and appreciate each other.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to engage with others and discuss subjects that may be a little sensitive but overall it will encourage to see the differences in others and appreciate the diversity that exists in our society

Do the homework or else you won't do well on tests.
