    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed this course, so I would definitely recommend it to other students. First off, most of the material taught was easy to understand. Secondly, I would recommend this course because most individuals all over the world, including myself, do not understand how important it is to eat healthy foods. Many individuals in the United States eat processed fast foods, which means that all the nutritional value that the food may have had, is no longer there.

    Course highlights:

This course primarily explained the functions, food sources, and diseases when one consumes too much or too little of the six essential nutrients: Carbohydrates, Fats and Oils, Proteins, Vitamins, Minerals, and Water. In other words, it taught me that the six essential nutrients are foods that we should consume every day, but in certain amounts. Furthermore, I learned how to choose the appropriate foods to eat by learning how to read the Nutrition Facts Panel.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Although the class material is easy overall, one is still required to put in the effort to succeed. The biggest advice would be to not procrastinate. This is because the assignments require sufficient time to complete correctly. Also, since most of the work is online, we would need some more time if technical issues were to occur. Furthermore, I would advise students to constantly review the online quizzes because the midterm and final have the similar format and similar questions.
