    The course was a great introduction into Human Services and all the subjects that would be covered.

    Course highlights:

    Discussing the ethics portion was beneficial prior to taking my Ethics class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    The course was challenging but the design is for you to use your critical skills while learning more about the different aspects of human services field. You start with the historical and travel through the ​different era and the progression of the human services field.

    Course highlights:

    What I did learn was you should not be judgemental, because we all are not the same. There are different culture, beliefs that may be different than ours. I learn to empathize with those that are different to better understand their plight.​

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Be prepare to be challenged and to question your values. Your opinion matter, so be prepared to discuss them with your classmate and Professor. ​
