    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The challenging curriculum requires students to advocate for their intellectual needs, challenge difficult coursework, and communicate collaboratively, to ensure their personal goals are being achieved, and their interests are being promoted.

    Course highlights:

The philosophical standpoints behind literature like Hamlet, Frankenstein, O' brother where art thou?, and The Canterbury Tales, to provide students with enriching knowledge on the existential nature of self, as well as a brief understanding of the concepts behind their origin.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

All I can advise new students to do is pour their heart and soul into the coursework, provide teachers with enough information about their ideas that they can help you formulate your work or thesis, and come into the school with a very open and conscious mind.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this class! solely for the purpose of being able to get out early or start late during half the week.

    Course highlights:

we learned many things about literary devices and great forms of literature. books and practice was hard driven in order to ensure a good score on the AP test

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

make sure you turn everything in on time and spread the work load out! its an ap class so you wont be in class half the time meaning you have to rely on self effort for most of the work.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although we were taught how to read and analyze certain texts and important pieces of literature, we were not taught how to write a good essay about any of it.

    Course highlights:

I learned the importance of old english literature and the meanings behind it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study and pay attention to the details of a play or book before a quiz. Also, make sure you are listening to the discussions held in class.
