Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very personal class. Father is amazing and brings in a lot of perspectives even as a Catholic I did not consider.

    Course highlights:

The final essay. You can write about what you want and it gets very exciting. We mostly studies the first part of the bible and basic theosophical concepts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get to know your professor even if you get him in a large lecture. He loves to make fun of students so have a light heart and always come to class and do the reading because he will pull questions straight from the reading.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because the professor makes the material very interesting by relating it to modern day living. It was rewarding for me to learn more about the Bible that is a large part of my own religion, and Dr. Sholl brought it to life.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the major events in the Bible, beginning with Genesis and continuing through the Old Testament and into the Gospels. We discussed the cultural significance of certain events and how that could change the meaning behind these stories.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

At least skim the readings before class, but especially take good notes in class and mark the passages that he specifically talks about in class. Those will be on the tests.
