    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Heather was a wonderful professor who catered her class to the needs of the students while still following the demanding curriculum. She made the material very interesting and presented in a way that was interactive and mentally stimulating. I excelled in her class and feel confident about applying what I learned in my future nursing career.

    Course highlights:

I learned all the different kind of skin problems that could occur ranging from pimples to rashes and to a very severe case such as bed sores. I found this material very intriguing and I went from having very little knowledge on the subject to feeling like an expert after four months on skin problems.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would urge any medical majors to take this insightful course because it taught me a lot about the human body but in everyday problems that could occur.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a class all nurses have to take but this class does an amazing job of setting the student up to take foundations and to start their rounds of clinical. This class made my transition into the clinical world so much easier, I had a lot of the tools and tips to go into clinical confident and comfortable. This is a great class to take to make sure the student is ready for clinical.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned the basics of clinical. We were taught how to take blood pressure, find all of the heart sounds, how to assess each age group, and they taught us how to deal with all type of patients.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! It is a fun course to be in, the professor is super nice and will always answer any question you have. This course is easy as long as you watch the videos provided and show up to class prepared.
