    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was one of best classes I have ever taken. Mr. Graegin was a really good teacher, and he never lied to us when he told us it wouldn't be easy. But with a lot of focus and studying, the class can be easy, it just takes dedication. And in the end it's worth it, because passing the AP test means one less class to take in college.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoy US history in general, so this course helped me to learn the specifics about the US's past. In my opinion, knowing our countries history is important, so the class is not only interesting but it is very educational.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to be willing to study and take notes. It may seem like all memorization but it's more than that. It's knowing the material so you can put it into context to write papers, or answer questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot about US History in this class. In all the other history classes that I had taken before this one, we only made it up until the Civil War. After that, I was pretty clueless as to what happened in our country. I was lucky enough to have a great teacher who not only knew what he was talking about but also made the class fun.

    Course highlights:

This class really was a great introduction to all aspects of the United States' history. Although rigorous at times, the course taught me a lot about the political side of US history, unlike previous history classes which only discuss the wars and the major laws that were passed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Even though this is an AP class, it really isn't that hard if you read your textbook throughout the year and take good notes. Not only will this result in a better grade, but it will also allow you to learn a lot more.
