    Course Overview:

    The course gives insight about other cultures and why they hold their beliefs. It's very interesting.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about the Hmong culture, the Indian culture, and about smaller cultures such as the Barí and Mosuo.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study vocabulary and READ the articles given. They will make for better class discussions and test scores.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this class because the class helps give you more insight on other cultures around you. It'll help you understand more about the world and they way people react, their beliefs, and their traditions.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot about the Hmong culture and their beliefs. For example their hospital beliefs and how they don't believe in they typical doctors, they believe inn their Shaman with their healers.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Actually do your work, the books we read are very interesting. The whole class is interesting and it would really help if you read and pay attention. You could really learn a lot from the class.

    Course Overview:

    There's so much you can learn about other cultures and what makes them different but unique from the rest of the world. I guarantee you won't fall asleep in this class because everything that is taught is an eye opener.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights was learning not to be ethnocentric ( thinking that your culture is the best) that's something I learned in this class. It's like traveling the world for free!

    Advice for students:

    My advice is to keep an open mind and feel free to express your culture!
