Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I didn't think much about this course. It was very easy and interesting. The teacher was a bit awkward but after a few days, he warmed up to us. I absolutely love him. He's very nice and understandable. We went over everything from paintings to articheture.

    Course highlights:

The research paper was my favorite. The book required for the class, he'll go over picture by picture and you'd see something that interest you and you needed to know more so when the research paper came around it was easy! Because I had did the research on the artist already. Lots of them had very interesting backgrounds. Like Jeff Koons doesn't touch his art work and an artist died because one of his very large scupltures fall and killed him. (He bleed out.)

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Vocabulary is very important! As long as you know what you're talking about, what it is, and you spelled it to the best of your abilities you'll be fine.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor is amazing and extremely helpful!

    Course highlights:

I learned my appreciation for art as expected but I learned so many different techniques for not only teaching art or any subject but how to start a great discussion and spark good communication between classmates.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the participation discussions early so you do not fall behind. And read the book when you get it before the course starts. The chapters were quite big and lots of information in them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this online Art Appreciation course thinking it was going to be dull, and boring. I wasn't exactly looking forward to learning how to appreciate art. However, Professor Frey completely changed my thoughts. His class, although online, was very interesting and actually turned out to be my favorite class.

    Course highlights:

This course changed the way I view not only art, but music, movies, and books as well. Now I can look at something and truly appreciate what the artist put into it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You don't really need anything other than the book. As far as the workload, the professor doesn't ask for too much.
