Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Duke-Koelfgen is very knowledgeable and knows how to stimulate conversation. She's also understanding about things like late assignments, but without being pushed around by students.

    Course highlights:

As well as the finer points of critical reading and writing, I was surprised about how much literary history I learned.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Participate in all classroom conversations and take lots of notes. Also, don't be afraid to talk to the professor after class or during office hours to ask her to clarify directions.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was a fun class for a freshman

    Course highlights:

Journal check every day but he always gave us privacy and never read them. Civil rights believer. Conciencious objector. Read the literature and discuss it in class. Must read the literature to pass. He can tell!!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the literature so you can discuss it in class. Pay attention in class. He doesn't ask for much but he expects what he does ask to be completed (journal entries etc)

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

They syllabus did not clearly state the requirements of the class and the professor was not flexible with non-traditional students. The professor failed to answer my questions in a timely matter and resulted in unfavorable grades. This was my first time attending an online class so it was a little difficult for me to grasp what was needed. I would have appreciated timely responses. I also did not like that the assignments where not clearly stated, making you have to check online everyday for your assignment. This made it difficult as I was traveling.

    Course highlights:

We had all the resources for our essays that had to be written.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Thoroughly read the syllabus and what is required when using MLA formats.
