    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Hansen makes it fun, and is very clear about everything. You will learn a lot about the human body and how all the organs work together to make one amazing body. My favorite was the digestive system and circulatory system. Our immune system is amazing it attack everything that is foreign to us.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was lab. I loved looking through the microscope at the formed element (blood cells and platelets) and the tissue slides. although not at first, I'm glad we got a chance to dissect some fetal pigs. What I liked about it was being able to see all the blood vessels and organs. The lab test were great also.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Please study hard for the test Mr. Hansen will make the lecture somewhat easy but do not be fooled his test are hard. I would make note cards, answering his objective questions and quiz myself and my classmates. Please get a study partner and do exactly that. Study for the lab exams because they are not as hard as the lecture test. Mainly because they are more memorization of anatomy than physiology which is harder.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I Would recommend it because not only is it a requirement for nursing but in just one class you learn more about your body then an average person knows and it is the little things you know that could possibly make a big difference.

    Course highlights:

I learned the vital parts of each system in the body. There is too much to type about what I learned but all I can say is the body is very intriguing organism and I have learned the basics , which seemed like a lot, and I cant wait to learn more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the text book and make sure to study not only what the teacher gives but a little more in depth and if the professor repeats it more than once it is probably important.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although she if a tough instructor, she does test reviews to narrow down unnecessary (fluff) from the text.

    Course highlights:

Doing the labs have allowed me to connect the text with the actual structure/function.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be committed to do the work. If you slack you have nobody to blame but yourself!
