    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

My teacher told us this course was the Iron Man of AP courses which is a perfect description. It's hard but super interesting. If you aren't interested in chemistry though, it will be hard. I loved chemistry and it was still challenging no doubt but definitely worth it. I learned something new everyday and had the most exciting feeling when big concepts clicked. This was the first class ever where I felt uncomfortable which made me grow into a much more effective and comprehensive student.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was seeing my AP score in July after it was all over. When I knew all my hard work had paid off I could look back at the course and appreciate all the confusing and hard times because it helped me to succeed in the end. The labs are also really fun if your percent error doesn't suck. :)

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

this is not a slackers class because you will literally fail if you don't pay attention and study. Khan academy is really helpful and so is your teacher. Be sure to be comfortable with formulas and l math that doesn't spit out nice numbers. Practice past AP FRQs before the exam.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for anyone who likes science. The class is very fun in innovative, and provides a lot of skills for problem solving.

    Course highlights:

The questions on the test were very different from any other class. They weren't really straightforward, and as such you had to do some thinking on your part to figure out how to answer the questions. This taught me to figure things out for myself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Spend a lot of time studying for this class, as there are a lot of notes, and is quite difficult.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it prepares you for the college science courses that you will encounter in the future.

    Course highlights:

I think the highlights of this course, was being able to study many different aspects of chemistry, and getting to see which parts I like and do not like.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you take notes on the book, because it will help when you are trying to study for the tests. Instead of having to read the whole chapter again, you can read over your notes.
