Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would defiantly recommend it. Sociology is perfect for anyone who is curious about our society and how it works.

    Course highlights:

I've gained for much info, starting off with an Intro course to attending a university and planing to major in sociology. Sociology is a very broad subject. I love it because it more about today and how society views the positive and the negative. The into is based on the past sociologist and it teaches us how they viewed life and how sociology came to be.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Once entering the class always be prepared for daily news discussions. Get involved and don't be afraid to speak your mind. Also, being in a sociology class,it is important to be open minded & respect others opinions!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I feel like it is extremely important to know about our society. Our people, our community, our neighbors are what make society and we are the ones who identify what norms are and what they are not. We are at a point in time where violence is increasing, discrimination, racism and people being prejudice. Learing about it can help us, you, decrease the negativity in our world.

    Course highlights:

I love sociology and It has become my major. I am a person who seeks answers to why society is the way it is. Why we identify what norms are and what they are not. Sociology teaches you about people and how we communicate through these norms that we "should" and "should not" live by, being social with one another and having society tell you how to live. It's an insertsting subject & important because it deals with everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If considering the course, keep an open mind because it is all about perspective & Always read the chapter to be on top for the class discussions.
