    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It's an extremely informative class that challenges you and stimulates you. This is a great class for young adults about to be launched into the world. This class will give you a better understanding of what your rights and duties are as a citizen.

    Course highlights:

    This class was very helpful as far as how the country I live in is run, and gives me the knowledge to become an informed voter, and an active participant in my government.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you read and takes notes in class. If you're okay with doing some work,, then this class will come easily to you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course is stimulating and challenging and extremely informative. Since it's an AP course, the work load is no where near meek, but if you simply read what you need to read, do your work, and pay attention, you'll find that it's a much more simple than you think. Dr. Mackenzie is a terrific teacher, and he has a vast knowledge of the subject.

    Course highlights:

    As a citizen of the United States, and now a registered voter, there are things that I should know about the way my country is run. Not only does this class inform you on topic that you should know, but also informs you in things benefit you.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Definitely read the chapters and make sure you keep up with your position papers. If you're willing to work, this class will come easily to you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It really forces you to look more closely at the way our government is run and consider how you could change things and make a difference if you wanted to.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot about myself and what my views are. Even if you aren't very involved in politics it's important to be informed so that you as a citizen can make decisions as to how you want your country to be.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read the Chapters and take notes on them. Always check the syllabus and keep up with assignments that are due. Like a college class, you won't be reminded of a homework assignment or project constantly.
