    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class focused around the MLA writing format. We basically just wrote a lot in this course. In all we had about four large essays throughout the semester on different topics. We were able to submit our papers, review them, and make corrections to them as many times as we liked. Overall, the class was not that bad as long as you don't mind writing a lot.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to use the MLA format which is a very nice format for writing. Also, I became familiar with the Bedford Handbook, which has a lot of very important and useful tools for someone who is writing a lot. The Bedford Handbook became like my best friend in this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For any students considering taking this course, I recommend that they get the most updated copy of the Bedford Handbook. Also, I would tell students to prepare themselves for a lot of papers they will have the write. But, if they happen to have Janet Woods as an instructor they will have many opportunities to make their paper better.
