    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I gained an immense amount of knowledge of chemistry. The labs were interactive and fully immersed us in a college level chemistry course. The tests were difficult and pushed me to my limit and taught me resilience.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the labs. The labs gave a hands-on explanation of the topics we were learning. Specifically, the lab over equilibrium gave us several chances to see when exactly equilibrium was achieved.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in AP Chemistry, you have to want to learn. The want to learn keeps you driven throughout the difficult course. To study, take advantage of the after school study sessions and do all the online homework. Also, learn how to apply knowledge, rather than just memorize. Application is focus of every test.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

We need it to graduate, and if you're not good at science I would suggest that you take the easiest chem class and not force yourself to take an AP class.

    Course highlights:

My teacher was very helpful. I went to tutoring all the time because I struggle so much in science. I learned that it is okay to ask for help. I also learned that you need to put in your best effort to get the grade you want.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to tutoring!! Tutoring will help immensely.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Smith is a great teacher who truly cares for his students and their education. This course may tough, but you will learn more about yourself through this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the teacher and the education you receive. I learned that you grow as a person and as a student through your failures. Failing is okay and you will come back stronger and better.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do everything Mr. Smith tells you to and never give up. When things get tough, keep your head up and just keep pedaling.
