    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Fredrick goes into depth of all of the poems/literature that we read. He helps us understand the deeper meanings of the works.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the course was when we read Hamlet. Mr. Fredrick had the class divide up into groups and, after translating our parts into modern English, present the parts assigned to us. This helped us understand what was really happening in Hamlet and it made the test much easier to take because we actually understood the play.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You need to do the reading. Though it is rigorous work, it pays off in the end. If you don't do the reading, you will fall behind in class and not be able to participate during lecture. Also, the essays are meant to boost your grade, so do the best you can on the essays.
