    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would really recommend it. It helped me learn how to study and prepare for my major. I really wish I knew what I was getting myself into when I took it. By this I mean that it would have been easier to know how to study before hand. It was my first AP class, and it was one of the harder leveled AP classes as well. The teacher really helped me prepare for the AP exam, she knew what to study and went into great depth of every subject. This helped me learn how to understand subjects and how to get to understand instead of just memorize it all.

    Course highlights:

The games we played, class discussion, and videos were a definite highlight. I learned a lot about how people think and act which is really interesting. I also learned why I'm always stressed out all the time and how to deal with it. The class didn't only help me understand it taught me how to deal with certain situations. Psychology was not what I thought it was going to be, it was way more and that was the biggest highlight of all. When you think about learning about why people act they way they act, think deeper. It taught me a lot and I did not expect to learn what I did. You learn history of how all the psychologists came about their discoveries, parts of the brain, the systems of the body, what happens when you're hungry, stress, child growth and development, hypnosis and sleeping, and how it all ties together, including much more.

STUDY STUDY STUDY!! Take your own notes as well, and read the whole book. Maybe do a little research on your own. Make sure you understand all of the material give, you can't just memorize and glide through you have to make sure you understand it.

    Course highlights:

My favorite thing to learn about was why we dream and what those dreams mean. We all brought in a dream to analyze and it was very interesting and a fun little project

    Hours per week:

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's an extremely challenging course and the teachers as well as the book pushes you to your limits. If you want to be challenged from a memorization standpoint this is a great course for you.

    Course highlights:

I learned about what I wanted to do with my career. I learned about I-O psychology and that was my huge highlight from the course. But, essentially you learn the basics of Psychology from this class and the purpose is to take the AP exam in order to get credit in college.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study! Read the book because that's really where you learn most of the material. There's too much material to be covered so the teacher can't really teach you everything in a 45 minute period so use your book because it's your best friend.
