Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class, you will learn about every function of the earth, with topics like mineral cycles, hurricane formations, ocean studies, biological cycles, etc. It is the best broad science class out there.

    Course highlights:

I developed my passion for my major in this class. It inspired me to be a scientist and to study Science

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read the textbook thoroughly and take lots of notes!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking AP Physics. While it was difficult for me to visualize certain concepts, physics effortlessly blends mathematics and science to create a challenging yet satisfying course. Mr. Mickley is a wonderful teacher, doing everything possible to make sure that the students knew exactly what he was talking about and offering great advice on how to do difficult, thought-provoking word problems.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were learning about waves and learning about circuits. I've always been interested in these topics, but learning more about how they work and why they work the way that they do fascinated me. Every day when we were discussing these topics, I would talk about them with my friends after school and could never get enough. This was the first time in years where I was genuinely excited about learning something in science and I have not forgotten all the small details of these topics to this day.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To students considering this course, I would say that at first, the class will feel very difficult and the fact that there is minimal extra credit offered may turn off some students from the very beginning; however, if you challenge yourself and put enough hard work in, you will succeed in this class. I would also say that it is important to both do and understand the homework assignments. The homework assignments were a great preparation for the tests, and I can guarantee that the extra hard work will pay off in the form of outstanding test scores and a respectable score on the AP exam if you do this.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this class to someone who is looking to go into anything having to do with science or math

    Course highlights:

I learned incredible amounts about how and why objects work the way they do in the world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise to take very clear notes. Also, always do your homework. Doing homework and coming into class early or after school are the reasons I survived this class. You must stay caught up.
