    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class. The information was introductory, the teacher was serious and caring for her students, and it was a good balance between class time and lab time.

    Course highlights:

I learned about cell structure, enzymes, certain introductory chemistry- it was intro to bio so the information was a lot of what was learned in high school science, but was a pre-req nonetheless. Highlights were the people I met and the labs- they were fun and helped me apply the information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it if you need to, your time won't be wasted. If you place into a higher course though, obviously do that. Make sure to manage your time and to be engaged and present in class to get the most you can out of it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Excellent professor! Gives all the resources needed to pass the class, including study and focus questions. It is not an easy class and you have to put in the time for it, but I personally really liked the concepts learned in the class. It is good for biology and pre-ailed health majors who have to go on to harder classes.

    Course highlights:

I feel ready for the biology series I will be taking. Dr. Woodruff really taught more than what I have heard from students who have had other professors. Going into deeper details will definately serve well for biology majors and probably pre-ailed health majors too. I would not recommend for people who only need a biology class though.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Textbook not needed (though it did help if I read before lectures, but not necessary). She gives weekly lecture questions (just for practice) so make sure to keep up with them. Before tests, she gives focus questions - know those questions really well (I would always make flashcards) and you'll do fine on the tests.
