    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    this is a great class if you have no idea what economics is about as since it is macro goes over an overview of economics.

    Course highlights:

    The group discussions where very interesting and the professor encouraged everyone to talk even interrupt him. I learned a lot about profits and how much it takes to actually make a profit

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    go to class often there will be questions on tests that we talked about in class but were not on the readings or lecture notes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    The professor is an incredibly passionate and knowledgeable. It is not an easy class, but if you commit the time, it is well worth it.

    Course highlights:

    Unlike other courses I have taken previously, I still retain all the information til this day and this class is the reason I switched my major to economics.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Definitely, use the extra material he gives in class for exams. He gives many good study guides and they are incredibly useful.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    An intriguing course. This in an introductory course in Microeconomics. It can definitely help you to decide whether economics is a major for you or not.

    Course highlights:

    The basic mechanism of demand and supply at a microeconomic level. The elasticity of demand and supply and major factors that influence them. The different types of economic systems. Different types of competitive markets and their operation.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read and re read the textbook material and class notes. Make use of office hours. Learn actively through economic problem sets and solve questions. Try to make connections between various economic variables. Memorize and understand formulas.
