    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Eye opener into the way our social world works - gender identity, beauty standards, eating disorders, economic status, the poverty line, and so much more

    Course highlights:

We learned how to look at the world through the eyes of a sociologist's perspective, which allowed us to question society and why we do what we do and how we act as a group.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the assigned chapter. You will go over it and be expected to know the material.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was a required course that I had to take to get my minor. It can be interesting and gives you some better perspective on how our world works

    Course highlights:

Learning about biases was an interesting topic in which I learned I am not overly biases meaning I can hopefully help everyone in the same manner

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

just pay attention and you will learn some interesting things

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Amazing course + amazing teacher = amazing semester.

    Course highlights:

The highlight to this course was the teachers lectures. His stories or connections with the topics truly helped me remember certain theories and situations. In this class I learned that sometimes our perception of reality goes much deeper than we think.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The only advice I would give any student considering this course is to simply pay attention. Of course, you want to pay attention to get good grades but if you plan to continue learning sociology then paying attention in the 101 class is very important.
