Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Carleton is an excellent professor. Clear and concise, you always know what to expect on exams.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to pay attention during a lecture that requires no participation from you. And I find the human body fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't try to study for the exam the night before! Also you don't have to buy the book in order to get an A.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. McGinnis is definitely not a teacher that you can take and get by without studying. However, she is so knowledgable about the topics covered and intelligent that you learn the material in depth.

    Course highlights:

You cover a lot of topics in this course, everything from the pathway of the blood in the cardiovascular system to the pathway of a bite of food through the digestive system. Aside from Anatomy though, this class taught me how to really put in all my effort for a course.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY FROM THE LECTURE RECORDINGS!!!! For the first couple of tests I tried to use the book, but her powerpoints don't include everything in the book so I was wasting my time and doing poorly. If you just watch the lecture recordings and take notes on the days leading up to exams, you will do just fine!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is super helpful and nice. She gives a good amount of office hours and replies quick to emails.

    Course highlights:

I was able to gain more knowledge on the cardiovascular system and on the urinary system.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the mastering a&p questions and review the worksheets (at least 3-5 times).
