    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was wonderful, very informative and very interesting. A lot of information but it is so interesting that the tests are not difficult.

    Course highlights:

You learn about all different kinds of disorders, from learning disorders, to schizophrenia, to substance abuse disorders. You learn about possible causes, treatments, and diagnostic criteria.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and really take advantage of the learning opportunities that come with the weekly journal entries. Good notes are essential, and the videos that are shown are also extremely helpful so pay attention.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course to students. Prof. Abbot is a current, working, psychologist, so she has hands on experience that she works into her lessons. It makes the course so much more interesting, and I loved going to class!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about some diseases that I thought I already knew a lot about. My favorite 2 that we learned about were bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. All of the things talked about were very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you find psychology interesting, you will love this course. Abbott makes the lecture fun and you won't be sleeping through it! However, you have to be willing to learn and put in effort if you want to succeed in the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's interesting and the professor made it relatable. I actually feel like I learned something in this class.

    Course highlights:

Dissociative identity disorders - really caught my attention. There are people who have up to 100 different personalities within them. This makes for a challenging situation. We learned the various treatments for the disorder

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read and review the chapters. Be sure to be present in the class by participating. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Be able to research and write a paper in the APA style.
