    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is a requirement in the state of Florida, so my recommendation is somewhat irrelevant. However, I do recommend taking the course with Dr. Kellen, if you are provided with the opportunity to do so. She was an exceptional professor, going above and beyond to provide direct feedback for every single assignment. Do the work, applying her recommendations along the way, and you can ace this course.

    Course highlights:

I've been out of high school for a long time now, so I didn't know what to expect with this course. The last essay I wrote was in 1998, so I felt really nervous about the process. However, the syllabus was laid out with great detail and I knew from week to week what the expectations were, and I was provided with plenty of time to revise and complete work ahead of deadlines. I am much more confident in my approach to writing now than I was before, so I'm very happy that I took this course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to deadlines and don't wait until the last minute to complete the work. If you follow the professor's instructions, you will do very well in this course.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Huff was an amazing professor! She truly cares about her students, and ants them to succeed in not only her class but all college courses as well!

    Course highlights:

This course was a refresher of basic english requirements, while afterwards going to deeper into what is expected of college level writing and researching.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class may seem tedious but I have used what I learned in this class in every other class throughout my freshman and sophomore years so far. It really teaches you how to write at a higher level.
