    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

CHM2045c is a common prereq, but I enjoyed it because it was fascinating to learn about the chemical bonds and reactions that occur in everyday life.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the class was the lab and seeing the physical properties and changes of chemical reactants.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the material. There's a lot of it and while it's tempting to put off, it will quickly overwhelm you if you try to cram it all at once.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He presents, but doesn't teach. You have to track6 yourself chemistry, which is DEFINITELY not for everyone.

    Course highlights:

Chemistry: batteries, buffers, neutralizing, orbitals, naming, the works.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Know your learning style, and perhaps pick another professor.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great professor. He is very thorough and wants his students to succeed. Read the chapter and practice for exams. Got an A.

    Course highlights:

Learned that even though people say chemistry is hard, as long as you study and go to class, you can do really well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapter and do the practice problems in the text. It may take a while to get through, but it's well worth it.
