    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend him only if you're serious about learning. Mr. Kasenow will prepare you for real college life material to pass and be successful. He treats you how you want to be treated and how a professor at college would treat you, like an adult.

    Course highlights:

The highlights has to be the reading. Even if you don't like to read the books he chooses to discuss are beyond amazing and inspirational.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to take his course seriously or you won't pass. Don't skip and miss his class cause you will fail.

    Advice for students:

Ask your fellow student to peer edit your essays and ask to peer edit theirs.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Kasenow is the type of teacher that answers your question with a question and inadvertently makes you learn without coddling or giving you the direct answer. He is stern, but in a way that makes you want to be held accountable. He treats you like an adult and is genuinely interested in the subject he teaches, and the students ability to learn and grow in his course.

    Course highlights:

Writing has always been a skill of mine, but under the tutelage of Mr.Kasenow, my essay skills and critical thinking scores skyrocketed! He forced me to use my own brain to think actively and come up with complex answers and ideas considered much further advanced than those offered in many other high school courses.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed with Kasenow you have to really apply yourself. There is no room for you to be shy about your writing skills or reading to the class. Everyone is on equal playing fields in his eyes, and you earn the grades you get. He gives you ample opportunities to succeed- just take your notes, study diligently, and ask for help when you need it and you'll do exceedingly well in his course.
