    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because the curriculum is well handled by Mrs. Ray. She teaches at a fast pace, but in an organized and direct way that's easy to follow and keep up with. One attribute that I felt was important to mention of Mrs. Ray's class was that she handed out a monthly assignment list that told you ahead of time what assignments were due when and the page numbers of the text book as well.

    Course highlights:

This pre calc course covered the basics of logarithms, graphing, polynomials and graphing functions, both polar and rectangular graphing, trig identities, sin and cos graphs, inverses, the unit circle, and other topics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, simply take notes and follow the lesson in class. If you take notes and pay attention in class, you'll understand that night's assignment, and then only a little extra studying before an exam is needed!

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was definitely challenging, but I feel it along with other challenging AP courses prepares students for college level course work. Specifically those students interested in pursuing a Biomedical Science Degree any Biology, Chemistry, Physiology, Calculus and Physics courses will provide you a solid knowledge base for upper class courses in college.

    Course highlights:

Mathematics in general especially as the AP and Honors level will challenge and provoke your thought process further exploring the mechanics of how things work in the real world. This knowledge base will help you excel in any medical, biological field that you may be interested in pursuing.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take detail notes in class, complete all your assignments, show your work, and study the guides in your book, take all practice tests, ask questions when unsure and always challenge yourself to work through a problem even when it appears unfamiliar.
