    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is the basic requirement for MOST degrees at every university or college.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was definitely the essays we had to write. I learned that in order for me to progress with the course, was to break the habit my elementary and middle school had me do of making a five paragraph essay. You don't need just five paragraphs! I learned that spacing things out will keep your reader drawn to your essay.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Simply listen to the teacher with all of your attention. Some teachers may spring in some information you'll need to know. And try your hardest. If you put in the effort, you will surely pass with flying colors.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are a student who loves writing essays on a large variety of topics, then this is definitely a class you would love. It is entirely focused on writing essays and learning about grammar, so there is no reading literature, and this was by far my favorite class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of new things about grammar that I had never been fully taught before, and it definitely helped out my writing a lot. While you are given certain topics to write about in this course, the ideas are still pretty open to whatever the students wishes to write about and that was the highlight of the course for me. My writing definitely improved a tremendous amount this semester.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Almost your whole grade in the class comes from the essays that you write, so spend time on them and make them the best that you've ever written. There are some tests on grammar and vocabulary that you should work hard on, but writing is definitely your main focus in this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for anyone that is advanced in the subject of english. This course gives students insight into how some assignments and research will have to be done when they reach college.

    Course highlights:

ENC 1101 is more focused on learning how to use the MLA format for essays. Students are also taught how to conduct effective research for essays in the future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, one has to have organizational skills and give themselves time to finish assignments with time to review them.
