Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you get to learn the simple yet complex things that give us life. I would also recommend this course because leaning about this gives you the understanding of almost everything within yourself. Why you breath? why you move? How are you living?

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was learning about DNA replication because you get to understand how and what makes you, you.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying is the key, even putting in 30 minutes of your time each day will make you succeed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I enrolled in Bio 181 at South Mountain Community College for the Spring 2017 semester. I love Bio 181, it is both my favorite class, and the one I look forward to. Mrs. Espinosa is a tough grader, but if you stay focused in her class and spend time outside of the course studying you will be fine. I wish I had taken a chemistry course either before or alongside this course, given I had been out of high school for one year and my last chemistry class was four years ago. It took me a little longer to remember the chemical properties in biology, than my counterparts.

    Course highlights:

We learned the basic structures of biology, different types of cells, how to identify those cells ect. I feel like the highlight of this course for me is being able to identify cells and some abnormalities under the microscope.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you have a passion for biology, if not you will hate it. Ensure that you know most of the basics, or maybe even try to take a refresher course to help you remember.
