Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot in this class about rhetoric and word choice, and it also made me step out of my comfort zone in presentations and group projects.

    Course highlights:

Besides learning English, I learned a lot about time management and became much better at public speaking because there was a lot of presentation in the course that involved discussing authoer's purpose and reasoning behind their diction.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Remember to take the class seriously and put in the time to study for tests and papers, because if you put the time in it isn't too bad. The class isn't very difficult overall, but there is a lot of time to put in.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's good preparation for writing college essays, but AP Literature may be more beneficial, particularly for students who have taken AP Language the prior year, as college writing is "basically a watered down version of APLANG," to quote a teacher.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write a cohesive essay (particularly concerning application essays) while emphasizing key details about myself through my writing and channels my ideas in different ways.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to rediscover yourself in a sense because a lot of what you write pulls from personal experience.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I did not attend Lincoln-way Central, but Lincoln-way West. I have no reasoning.

    Course highlights:

Writing preparation for the AP Lit and Comp test.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Read all the books in the curriculum, tests are impossible to pass otherwise.
