Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was very focused on race relations and social issues. I was impressed by what hard hitting topics we covered such as culture, race, sexism, stereotypes, and socio-economic struggle.

    Course highlights:

I think that our in class work was very focused on the course objectives. We never did busy work, and everything we wored on contributed to our final grades and comprehension of the subject. By writing about a lot of different issues, we gained perspective on many different people's individual ways of life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep focused on social issues. This class requirs being educated on American race relations and customs. You also focus on learning about a lot of different aspects of american culture that are typially considered taboo or unorthadox due to the lack of rhetoric around the issues (like native american struggles, and immigrant issues).

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It’s a fun class with just two essays to complete and about 20 little assignments centered around the two essays or the reading packet we were given. I would recommend it.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to extend my essay from a 3 page essay to a 5 and even 6 page essay. This class was a real life saver since I heard that I would eventually have to write longer page essays as I continue my education.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

So long as you do your work and don't fall behind it’s a great class and the teacher is really helpful in answering questions you may have. So don’t be afraid to ask questions if you have any.
