    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Financial Accounting is the first college credit class that directly taught accounting. This was the best class that I had this semester and I understood a lot of the material. Accounting is my major and this class just expanded upon what I already knew, as well as some things that were new.

    Course highlights:

At the beginning of the class, you will learn the basis of accounting. Such as the Income Statement, Balance Sheet etc. Then you will go more in depth with transactions involving both the income statement and balance sheet, certain GAAP principles.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Although it is not required, it is great to have some sort of accounting experience before taking this course. That way, you already have a general idea of what to expect in the class, and there will be less confusion.
