Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed this class. It is very difficult if you are not good at time management like myself. Just stay on task when she gives you work time and be sure that your essays are complete and that you are always prepared to be called on for an answer whenever. Do the homework.

    Course highlights:

With this class, you can elect to take it for IU credit. I recommend doing so because then you are clearing your college work load up by having one less required course to take. This class evolves a ton of writing so be prepared. You will end the semester being able to write papers a lot better than before.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do it. But just remember to always do your homework on time. She may not check the homework everyday but doing it will greatly help you in class discussions and such. This class is truly a college course in that sense. Do your work on time. Do not procrastinate.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it prepares you for college. Mrs. Masur is a wonderful teacher who is willing to work one on one with you to make sure you have a good understanding of what we are supposed to be learning.

    Course highlights:

This course gives you an understanding of different types of essays and how to write them. It helped me to have a better understanding of how to write my essay for the SAT and the ACT. One of the highlights of this course was the caring teacher. Mrs. Masur helps you one on one with the essays you have to write for this class and makes sure you have a good understanding of what to write and how to write it.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would always do the readings she assigns for homework. In class the next day we discuss the reading assignment and we usually have essays to go along with some of the articles we have read. Mrs. Masur usually gives several weeks to write an essay and she makes everyone conference with her so she can check your paper so you can make corrections before you turn in your final draft.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because you learn more about how to write write well and synthesize information well. It is enjoyable and despite the large amounts of homework, will get a college credit out of the way!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write well and analyze pieces thoroughly. The final for this class is to write a paper, which what you have been doing all semester, so you are well prepared for it!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading!! It will help you both in class and on your essays. When you get behind on the reading it is very difficult to catch up.
