Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
Very fun and intriguing course.
Course highlights:
A big part of the curriculum is the unit circle.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Memorize the Unit circle and other formulas.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course to someone with high math ability and that is pursuing the Academic Honors Diploma.
Course highlights:
I learned different ways to solved geometric and algebraic problems. I also learned new subjects only used in Pre-calculus.
Hours per week:
12+ hours
Advice for students:
To succeed you need to study efficiently, get sleep, and keep in mind the end goal no matter what happens during the course of the year.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course if you like math or are interested in eventually taking Calculus. I am not a huge fan of math so I didn't really enjoy the work. However, taking Pre-Calculus is essential to understanding Calculus concepts, so, for that reason, I recommend the course.
Course highlights:
The highlights of the course were completing proofs. I loved working everything out so both sides were equal. I learned about the unit circle, how to graph polar equations, series and sequences, vectors, and many other concepts.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
My advice is to memorize all the formulas. Or at least memorize the majority of the formulas. Also do all of the practice problems. Practice makes perfect, especially in math.
